Returns & Refunds Policy

 

1. Our Commitment

We want every Cosmic Delight to arrive safely and spark joy. We take great care in packaging your order and ensuring it reaches you in perfect condition. This policy outlines when you’re eligible for a return or refund—and how we’ll make things right if something goes wrong.

2. No Returns for ‘Change of Mind’

Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), custom-made and perishable food items are exempt from the standard 14-day ‘cooling-off period.’

This means we cannot accept returns or offer refunds if you simply change your mind after placing or receiving your order.

The following items are non-returnable:

• Custom-made sweet pouches (mixed to your unique specification)

• Perishable or edible items (due to health and safety regulations)

• Any opened or unsealed food product

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully protected.

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Joanne@octobonbon.co.uk with:

• Your Order Number

• A clear description of the issue

• Photographic evidence showing the damage to packaging and/or sweets

Valid claims include:

• Packaging crushed or contents melted/exposed • Sweets that are stale, contaminated, or unfit for consumption • Incorrect sweet selection or product received

We’ll always make it right—your joy is our mission.

4. Refunds & Replacements

Once we’ve reviewed your claim and confirmed the issue, we’ll offer one of the following:

• Full Refund (including original shipping), processed within 7 working days

• Replacement of the affected item(s), sent at no extra cost

5. Cancelling an Order

You may cancel your order only if it hasn’t entered the assembly process.

To cancel, please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order via email or your preferred contact method.

Once your sweets begin assembly, we cannot cancel or refund the order—each pouch is mixed to order and becomes part of the legend.
